2011 KC World of Wheels
It was cold cold cold leading up to the Kansas City edition of the Carquest World of Wheels show this year, but that didn't stop the show. Like other indoor shows that I've been to in the last few weeks the show car attendence seemed down, but Kansas City's Bartle Hall was still packed. The crowd came out in a big big way, not only to see the cool show but because most of us in this area had spent the previous 2 weeks hiding from old man winter and a couple of blizzards.
Vintage Torque's booth served as a rallying point for some friends and I, John always has interesting people stopping by the booth:) Jack Walker had both his Phoenix and Blue Danube on display in the Kustoms section as well as another owner's Barris built 40 Ford. The Ol Skool Rodz display area had a ton of cool cars in it from the Los Punk Rods club, always a good time going down with the LPRodders are in the building.
